Miamidadesites.com offers a database of vacant properties and buildings now for sale or lease. An interactive map provides data on demographics, spending and the labor force. County vice chair Lynda Bell proposed the idea at a commission meeting in April, the South Florida Business Journal reported.

“This new website will allow businesses wishing to locate or expand in Miami-Dade County a literal ‘bird’s eye’ view on available properties, and provide the Beacon Council with yet another tool to assist those businesses with their location strategies,” county Mayor Carlos Gimenez said in a statement.
