David Cassidy drops price of Ft. Lauderdale home

Former “Partridge Family” star David Cassidy has dropped the asking price of his Fort Lauderdale home.

Cassidy reduced the price of the 1600 South Ocean Drive residence from about $4.5 million to $3.9 million, the Sun-Sentinel reported. He first put the 7,000-square-foot home on the market last year. The 63-year-old recently gave up a Fort Lauderdale condo to avoid losing it through foreclosure.

The decision to decrease the asking price for 1600 South Ocean Drive comes at a time when Cassidy is dealing with serious legal issues. He was arrested in Los Angeles last Friday and charged with drunken driving for the third time. [Sun-Sentinel] — Eric Kalis
