South Florida real estate agents are increasingly turning to Paris, France, as a new outlet for reaching prospective buyers.

Miami-based MC2 Realty founder Marie-Charlotte Piro has organized an upcoming two-day event in Paris at which 2,000 real estate insiders will gain a glimpse at Florida developments. Properties include 1 Hotel & Residences South Beach, Brickell Heights, Paraiso Bay and Hyde.

Piro also runs Fédération des Professionnels de L’Immobilier de Miami, a nonprofit that aims to connect South Florida realtors who speak French and international buyers who also speak French. The group also seeks out buyers from Canada, the French Caribbean, Algeria, Switzerland, Haiti and more.

Most realtors in the group are certified with the Business Brokers of Florida, Piro told Miami Today News.

“All these French people get lost in big national sites where it is very difficult for them to get the information that they really need,” Piro said. “It’s time to incorporate as French realtors to be able to help them.” [Miami Today News]Mark Maurer
