From the South Florida site: Longtime E Street Band drummer Max Weinberg and his wife Rebecca are the latest tri-state natives to pick up a home in the ritzy Town of Palm Beach, The Real Deal has learned.

The former Conan O’Brien bandleader paid about $2.2 million for a two-story residence at 260 El Pueblo Way on Tuesday, according to Palm Beach County records. Alan and Barbara Lindsey sold the four-bedroom home to the couple. The county recorded the transaction yesterday.

Designed by Maurice Fatio and constructed in 1940, the home was put on the market for the time in 50 years, according to Sotheby’s International Realty, which handled the listing.

A member of the Bruce Springsteen-led E Street Band since the mid-1970s, Weinberg is in the midst of a nationwide tour with the group. He served as O’Brien’s bandleader for nearly two decades.
