Marinas across South Florida are seeing improvements, as homebuyers with a passion for boating flood the region.
For instance, the Dania Beach Marina’s $7.5 million revitalization and redevelopment will be completed by June, Mayor Walter Duke announced. Currently more than two-thirds of the new 120-slip marina project is done, with several docks already open for business, according to the Sun-Sentinel.
“We’re just thrilled to have the opportunity to create a highly efficient, well-located and beautiful new marina that will be an asset for residents and visitors alike,” Duke said.
Similar projects are getting underway in Palm Beach, with Riviera Beach receiving a $375 million mixed-used marina redevelopment that will break ground in April. [Sun-Sentinel] – Christopher Cameron
