Construction is moving forward on the third and final phase of the New River Village development in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Developer American Land Ventures hopes to open the new 18-story building at 510 S.E. Fifth Avenue in the fourth quarter of this year, according to the Sun-Sentinel. Rents at the 209-unit building will range from about $1,600 to more than $3,000.

The project will include amenities such as a pool, fitness center, outdoor movie theater, coffee bar and valet parking.

“We want people to be down there and socializing,” said Tammy Britton, executive director of American Land Ventures. “It’s an ice-breaker, and it creates relationships. That’s why people stay in communities.” [Sun-Sentinel]Christopher Cameron
