Roland Faith of Aventura purchased the home from Bowens. Faith obtained a $1 million mortgage from Marquis Bank for the acquisition.

A University of Mississippi alumnus, Bowens was a mainstay on the Dolphins’ defensive line from 1994 to 2004. He sold the North Miami Beach residence about 10 months after buying a house in Homestead for $1 million.

Bowens was briefly a neighbor of Israeli soccer star Tal Ben Haim, who paid nearly $2 million for an Eastern Shores home on Feb. 28.
