Bayfront Miami Beach home sells for $14.3M

A Hibiscus Island home in Miami Beach traded for $14.3 million.

Jon Marden sold the six-bedroom home at 191 North Hibiscus Drive to Marc Laukien in a transaction recorded on Tuesday, according to Miami-Dade County records. Laukien did not obtain financing for the purchase.

Built in 1935, the bayfront home totals more than 8,000 square feet and has five bathrooms and one half-bathroom. Property features include a swimming pool, one-bedroom poolside cabana and caretaker’s quarters.

Brokers Dora Puig and Julian Johnston listed the house for sale. The property was initially listed in January with a $15.5 million asking price.
