The Miami River area is seeing a sort of real estate renaissance, with a recent boom in new development activity.

Related Group recently unveiled plans for One Brickell, HCD Developers is proposing a Miami Mega Yacht there, and late last year Seasalt & Pepper Brasserie and Lounge opened, according to GlobeSt.

But the latest development along the Miami River is the Edge on Brickell. The property is the only new luxury residential development on the riverfront. The 58-story, 127-unit residential tower will rise 631 feet — and many are praising its bold design.

The building will feature a 600-foot illuminated mural designed by Dutch artist Jan Hendrix.

“The Edge on Brickell is the expression of our vision to create an art-boutique building that provides residents with an exclusive living experience overlooking the Miami River” Rafael Aragonés, principal of Aragones Architecture and Grupo Habitat, who is developing the project with Alberto Espinosa, told GlobeSt. “The Edge on Brickell will bring unique architectural creativity to the elegance of the Miami skyline.”

Pricing will range from $648,000 to over $4 million. [GlobeSt.] Christopher Cameron
