Almost all charges against Palmieri brothers dropped

Most of the charges against the Palmieri brothers have been dropped.

The state attorney’s office dropped all grand theft charges against contractor Russell Palmieri. His brother, Francis “Bud” Palmieri still has one count of grand theft open against him.

The Palmieri brothers were charged in April with several counts of grand theft for allegedly fraudulently entering into business contracts. The pair also allegedly neglected to complete jobs and didn’t return deposits. Francis Palmieri owns Bud Palmieri Cos. Inc. on North County Road.

The charge still pending against Francis Palmieri has to do with a case where he allegedly solicited $5,000 from a Palm Beach woman for investments, according to the Palm Beach Daily News. Over the course of the last few weeks, a number of charges against the men have been dropped.
