While Robert Paltrow awaits sentencing for tax return falsification, his 86-year-old house in Palm Beach was sold for about $7.3 million.
Paltrow, who is the uncle of actress Gwyneth Paltrow, sold the 1250 North Ocean Boulevard property to a Marsha Cross Beeson of Houston and Palm Beach last week. The sale of the three-story, six-bedroom home also included a beachfront pavilion on the other side of North Ocean Boulevard. Beeson is the wife of Houston real estate investor John Beeson, who has owned a house in Palm Beach’s North End community since 2004.
Paltrow pled guilty to underpaying nearly $800,000 in income taxes in 2007 and 2008, according to the Palm Beach Daily News. His attorney claims Paltrow already paid the Internal Revenue Service back what he owes. Sentencing is expected in January. [Palm Beach Daily News] — Eric Kalis
