Construction kicks off at the Shops at Downtown Doral

Lennar Commercial and Codina Partners have kicked off construction on the first phase of the Shops at Downtown Doral.

The project calls for locally-owned restaurants and retailers on Main Street, including two concepts by Bulla – a gastrobar and a ceviche restaurant, and Dragonfly, a robata grill and sushi lounge, according to the Miami Herald.

The first wave of tenants will arrive at the scheduled opening in fall 2015, and will include Continental Bank, Freddo Gelato and OXXO dry cleaners.

When completed, Downtown Doral will have 2,840 residential units, including luxury condominiums, townhouses and apartments. [Miami Herald] – Christopher Cameron
