Sawgrass Mills to get new stores

Sawgrass Mills is going upscale, again. The shopping mall in Sunrise is adding 30 luxury stores and new restaurants that will open in 2016.

The additions will join the Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass, a section of the mall that currently features off-price retail locations for luxury retailers such as Barneys, Burberry, Coach and others. The expansion will create 80,000 square feet of retail space.

According to the South Florida Business Journal, the Colonnade Outlets expanded last year with newcomers Versace, Roberto Cavalli and Wolford.

Sawgrass has 350 retailers, two food courts and nine-full service restaurants. It is located at 12801 West Sunrise Boulevard. [South Florida Business Journal] – Jennifer White Karp
