Fort Lauderdale real estate broker Christopher Wayne White, 43, is facing federal wire fraud charges from the U.S. Attorney General for the Southern District of Florida.
White allegedly refused to return $595,000 in escrow deposits to three clients. Since his arrest, White’s real estate license has been suspended. He could receive up to 20 years in prison, according to the South Florida Business Journal.
In September, White was arrested on charges of lying to immigration officials and released on $150,000 bond. [South Florida Business Journal] – Christopher Cameron
