Construction on the West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale stations is expected to begin at the end of March. The 60,000-square-foot West Palm station is expected to cost $29 million, the Palm Beach Post reported.

It will also feature an elevated lounge, the length of the 800-foot train platform with seats for 180 people, and a U-shaped drop-off area. The Miami-to-West Palm Beach service is expected to begin in late 2016 with the Orlando leg starting in 2017, the newspaper reported. [Palm Beach Post] —  Kristina Puga
