Metropica launched its first residential project, YOO at Metropica, at an event with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers on Saturday.

Metropica, a 65-acre community in Sunrise, announced the alliance between the Fort Lauderdale soccer team and developers K Group Holdings and the Trillist Companies.

The 28-story residential tower will feature 263 luxury units ranging in size from 740 to 1,300 square feet. It will also include 10 penthouses averaging 1,900 square feet, the firm previously announced. The tower’s design is inspired by Oppenheim’s architecture. — Katherine Kallergis
