Wynwood warehouse trades at more than double last sale

A warehouse in Wynwood sold for $8 million last week.

Wynwood Gateway Building sold the nearly 1-acre site to Biscayne Storage & Exhibitions, a Miami-based self-storage company.

The sale includes a combined parking lot at 3620 to 3640 Northwest Third Avenue and the two-story warehouse at 301 Northwest 36th Street. All three parcels last sold in December 2013 for $3.58 million, less than half of last week’s sales price.

Attorney Jose A. Llerena and Gladelmis Martinez are listed as registered agents on the buyer’s corporate records. Both are affiliated with EFC Holdings, with an address of 5960 Southwest 57th Avenue in Miami.

Chariff Realty Group brokered the transaction.

The 28,966-square-foot warehouse, built in 1970, faces an empty lot. It’s located on the northwest edge of Wynwood.
