Venegas International Group has launched a new branch catering to professional athletes, artists, art collectors and entertainers, the firm announced Monday.

The Miami-based luxury brokerage has brought on Hope Gainer to lead the division. Gainer started her career representing athletes, entertainers and artists for Colgate Palmolive’ Sports and Recreation division in New York 30 years ago. Her specialty is providing turnkey experiences and advising on all luxury purchases, from real estate to yachts, jets and fine wine, she said in the release.

Venegas is opening the branch in conjunction with its plans to entertain at the Formula E race in Miami and the Miami Open tennis tournament. The branch will focus on American and Latin entertainers, pro tennis players and golfers, as well as pro athletes from the NBA, NFL and other leagues.

“As Miami continues to grow and attract professional athletes, artists, art collectors and entertainers to our town, it is important to cater to this elite clientele in a way they are accustomed to,” Monica Venegas, principal of Venegas International Group, said in a statement. — Sean Stewart-Muniz
