A company tied to an Ansca Homes executive paid $7.2 million for a 14-acre vacant site in West Palm Beach, The Real Deal has learned.

Ansca’s Charles M. Scardina Jr. acquired the site, which is next door to Land Rover Palm Beach, through his company CMSJR Development Group, county records show. The property’s current zoning is general commercial, and it’s located at 7000 Okeechobee Boulevard.

CMSJR also obtained a $5 million mortgage from Florida Community Bank. The site was listed for $7.6 million on Loopnet.

The seller is affiliated with Robert W. Simpson, who inherited and later sold Palm Beach Motor Cars Limited, which includes its Jaguar, Aston Martin and Range Rover dealerships, in December 2013 for $21 million, according to Palm Beach County property records. Simpson has minority ownership and dealer principal status until the end of 2016, the Palm Beach Daily News reported in 2013.

Ansca Homes is a Boynton Beach-based homebuilder. The company’s projects include Villagio Reserve in Delray Beach and Palazzo Casa Brera in Lake Worth.
