Polo Club of Boca manse sells for record $4.2M

A mansion in the Polo Club of Boca Raton has sold for $4.2 million, marking the most expensive sale to date in the upscale community.

The 11,567 square foot Mediterranean estate, at 5678 Vintage Oaks Circle in Delray Beach, is on the north side of the Polo Club, which stretches into Delray Beach.

Built in 2000, the lakefront estate has seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, and features a custom designed theater by Theo Kalomirakis’ TK Designs, a two-story library with a mahogany spiral staircase and a master suite that measures more than 2,500 square-feet.

Michael and Wendy Ledwitz, of EDGE Real Estate Brokers, represented the sellers, Roger Shiffman Trust.

Shiffman, a toy industry entrepreneur, was a co-founder of Tiger Electronics and created Zizzle in 2005. His LinkedIn profile says he is currently a manager of RC Greenleaf Partners. Palm Beach property records show that his trust bought the home in January 2000 for $4,079,087.

Civog Family LLC is the buyer. The entity is managed by Mario Govic, according to Florida records. Govic is the president of Govic Capital, which has offices in Palm Beach, New York and Sarasota. The wealth management and investments firm’s clients include high net worth families, CEO’s of public and private corporations, medical professionals, endowments, foundations, family owned businesses and individuals with complex trusts, according to the company’s webiste.
