BankUnited branch in Pompano Beach sells for $6M

A BankUnited bank branch in Pompano Beach has sold for $5.8 million, according to Broward County records.

An affiliate of Rosemurgy Properties, a Deerfield Beach-based commercial real estate development, investment and management firm, sold the 20,284-square-foot property to Free Experience Inc.

The property, at 2100 East Atlantic Boulevard, includes a 3,844-square-foot building, where BankUnited is a tenant, and a paved parking lot. The last recorded sale was in 2012 for $115,000, according to Broward County property records. Alexander S. Rosemurgy, CEO of Rosemurgy Properties, signed the deed transfer of ownership.

The Pompano Beach building was completed between 2014 and 2015. The buyer, a Coconut Grove-based company, lists Elizabeth M. Municoy Ortiz on its corporate records.
