Univision has signed the largest new office lease this year the Airport West-Doral submarket, a 12-year, $14 million deal, Taylor & Mathis announced on Monday.

The American Spanish language television network will lease 40,000 square feet at 9250 Doral, an expansion of its offices across the street.

Brian Gale and Andrew Trench of Taylor & Mathis represented the owner, Delma Properties. Mitchell Millowitz and Lance Benson of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented Univision, according to a press release.

The four-story, 187,000-square-foot building, at 9250 Northwest 36th Street, recently underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation and is now 88 percent occupied. It was built in 1984, according to Miami-Dade property records. Delma paid $23.14 million for the property in 2006.

Two years ago, the building’s single tenant, Amadeus North America, moved out, leaving the building 100 percent vacant, according to the release.
