Last dance as final Upper West Side nightclub closes
Columbus 72 held only remaining cabaret license in the neighborhood
Columbus 72 has closed its doors.
The club held the last cabaret license in the neighborhood, which once saw legendary clubs such as the China Club.
The space at 72nd Street and Columbus Avenue measures 7,000 square feet, with two dance floors and two lounges. Rafe Evans of Walker Malloy is marketing the location and told the New York Post that the space could work well as a sports bar. [NYP, 1st] — Claire Moses
