A Nashville-based developer nabbed a Dallas-area pro to help it expand in Texas, Colorado and Tennessee.

Southern Land Company hired Jeff Poole, based in Plano, as vice president for single-family land acquisitions. Pool has 25 years of experience in real estate, including 13 years with Pulte Group and previous positions with KB Homes, Ashton Woods and K. Hovnanian.

In 2022, Southern Land launched Lunaroya, its first project in the Texas Hill Country, comprising 28 single family homes in Dripping Springs.

Here’s what else is shaking in Texas real estate.

Stream Realty Partners hired Chris Sido as executive vice president for tenant representation. He will be based in Dallas and responsible for office representation and transaction management, as well as new-client and business pursuits nationwide. Sido joins stream from CBRE, where he started in 2014. He was previously a partner at Swearingen Real Estate for 14 years.
