Gowanus Gets Rezoned, Bringing New Development Despite Opposition

Since 2016, developers and the De Blasio administration have sought to rezone a wide swath of Brooklyn's Gowanus neighborhood. Yesterday, City Council voted to push the rezoning through, opening up formerly industrial parcels for mixed-use development. Watch to see how this will change the neighborhood.
