Andrew Heiberger, the founder and former president of Citi Habitats, has formed his own real estate company. Buttonwood Real Estate, LLC, is a private real estate corporation that will focus on investments, syndications, and property development in Manhattan, the New York metropolitan area, the Hamptons and South Florida. Heiberger will serve as president and chief executive officer of the new company, which will be located in 3,000 square feet of space at 712 Fifth Avenue. Heiberger, who resigned from The Corcoran Group in March, will retain his role in Citi Habitats and Corcoran through his position as the senior strategic advisor to both companies.
