Appreciating housing in New York

Housing prices in the New York City metro area appreciated 15.57 percent during the 12 months ending March 31, according to data released this week by the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight. That’s above the national average of 12.5 percent and puts the area 66th in housing appreciation among the nation’s major metro areas.
