Developers honing in on Willets Point

Developers are jumping at the chance to be part of the redevelopment of Willets Point, the junkyard-dominated eyesore in Flushing that could benefit the most from the proposed New York Mets stadium there. The area along the Flushing Bay waterfront in Queens could also be a host of the 2012 summer Olympics, should New York land the Games in July.
