The site of the former Studebaker Building at 1600 Broadway in Times Square will become a new 26-story residential and retail tower. Sherwood Equities plans to build 137 luxury condos on top of two floors of retail, with the condos reportedly going for around $1,000 a square foot. A sales office for the building is expected to open after Labor Day in September. more [Post]
