New Fulton fish market to open after delays

For the fourth time this year, the move of the Lower Manhattan fish market to a new location in the South Bronx has been delayed. About 50 wholesalers are now scheduled to move to the new 450,000-square-foot Hunts Point Food Distribution Center from the South Street seaport later this month. The New Fulton Street Fish Market will reportedly provide more than 700 jobs in the South Bronx. The old Fulton Street Fish Market in the Seaport is expected to be redeveloped. more [Crain’s]
