A group of developers that promised the city it would build condos in Clinton Hill for teachers may not ultimately do so, raising some concerns over whether the city’s oversight of new developments in the booming housing market is strong enough. The developers have already reportedly done a similar bait-and-switch in Bedford Stuyvesant, selling new condos on the open market rather than to just teachers. more [NYT]
