Broad Street Development bought for $85 million two rental buildings on the Upper East Side, both between 81st and 82nd streets. The 31-story 1438 Third Avenue has 147 apartments and 1430 Third Avenue has 21 apartments. No word on whether Broad Street will follow the herd and convert the buildings to condos. more [Post]
