Pataki: Major developer to lease Downtown

Gov. George Pataki said Thursday that he expects private Chinese developer Vantone Real Estate Company to lease 700,000 square feet of office space at the World Trade Center site. Vantone is reportedly considering a lease in 7 World Trade for what Pataki called the China Center, which will, he said, connect Chinese companies who invest in New York. more [NYDN]
