Two Soho buildings dating from the 1870s were sold to Red Brick Properties on Monday for more than $23 million. The buildings 45,000 square feet, combined, at 72-76 Greene Street have a mix of retail, residential and commercial tenants, according to Eastern Consolidated, which represented both Red Brick and the seller, Extell Development Corp. By the time of the sale, Extell had also begun adding to the roofs of the buildings to potentially create 4,000 square feet of penthouse space, with terraces on both the east and west sides.
