Construction starts on Fifteen Central Park West

Zeckendorf Development on Tuesday evening hosted a party to mark the start of construction on Fifteen Central Park West. The 202-unit condo project, designed in the neo-classical style, replaces the demolished Mayflower Hotel between 61st and 62nd streets with two towers one 20 stories, the other 43 that will connect at the base. Move-in for the first residents of Fifteen Central Park West is slated for early 2007, and The Real Deal has learned that the entire 39th floor has already been sold to a single buyer. The sales office is on the 44th floor of the Carnegie Hall Tower, where the party was held.
