Pataki nixes International Freedom Center

The International Freedom Center will not be at Ground Zero. On Wednesday, Gov. George Pataki asked the state agency in charge of the area, the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, to work with the center to locate other potential sites outside of the Ground Zero area. When center officials learned of the governor’s decision, they cancelled the creation of the museum. more [Sun]
