Museum completes 2 Columbus Circle purchase

The Museum of Arts and Design announced Thursday afternoon that it had completed its purchase of 2 Columbus Circle, and that it will now start work on transforming it into a new home for the museum. The city granted the museum the right to acquire 2 Columbus Circle for $17 million. The museum also announced Thursday that it had raised more than $48 million for its capital campaign.
