Citigroup continues to expand, both in Manhattan and in Queens. The world’s largest bank this week signed an 11-year lease for 297,000 square feet at 485 Lexington Avenue, according to building owner SL Green. The lease comes just days before Citigroup is expected to break ground for a new 475,000-square-foot office tower in Long Island City. Citigroup leased 250,000 square feet at 787 Seventh Avenue in September. SL Green also announced this morning a three-year lease by mutual fund TIAA-Cref for 85,000 square feet at 750 Third Avenue.
