Just when it seemed a go, uncertainty rears its head again in the ongoing plans for the Freedom Tower. Port Authority Chairman Anthony Coscia said Tuesday morning that the tower may not have enough leases to make it “a financially viable project.” A Port Authority official later said that the tower would be built — but perhaps not to the currently planned 1,776 feet. more [NYO]
