Manhattan retail rosy in ’06, report says

Job growth, a strong economy, and an influx of tourists should spur higher retail rents and lower retail vacancy rates in Manhattan for the rest of this year, according to a new report. Manhattan’s retail vacancy rate should drop to 4.2 percent by the end of 2006, according to the report released Tuesday by brokerage Marcus & Millichap. more By Tom Acitelli
