Brokerages step up city-specific training

City brokerages are stepping up efforts to prepare their new brokers for the idiosyncrasies of the New York real estate market. Halstead Property, for instance, recently started a two-week, 40-hour “boot camp” to teach new arrivals the ins and outs of brokering in the Big Apple. And the Corcoran Group has opened a new training center on Park Avenue South. more [Sun]
