Queens — formerly the cheapest borough

Queens in the last three years has turned from the most affordable of the five boroughs to one of the most expensive, according to a new report. In 2002, Queens tenants paid 27.4 percent of their incomes toward rent. By last year, the rent burden had increased to 31.7 percent of a resident’s income. more [Tribune]
