OK expected for No. 7 subway extension

The $2 billion extension of the No. 7 subway line could be approved as early as July by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. It would be extended from Times Square westward to the Jacob Javits Center. City officials hope its extension helps spur development on the far West Side.
