The current Community Board 4 in the South Bronx will hold its final meeting tonight. When it meets again, it will have new members. Why? Because those members who voted against Bronx borough President Adolfo Carrion’s wishes regarding the new Yankee Stadium have been removed by him. Borough presidents decide who serves on community boards. Carrion’s shake-up at Community Board 4 is already being called the “Memorial Day Massacre.” more [Sun]
