Luxury retailers eye Wall Street locations

Wall Street is the new Fifth Avenue. So say some and so suggests recent retail moves. Drawn by swanky new condo projects and an even more affluent than normal daytime workforce, higher-end retailers have been setting up shop on Wall Street. Last week, jeweler Tiffany’s announced it would open a new store there, and Paris fashion house Hermes said earlier this year it would open a store across from the New York Stock Exchange. more [WSJ]
