The July 5 topping-out ceremony for the new New York Times headquarters at 41st Street and Eighth Avenue has been postponed. Forest City Ratner, the developer building the tower with the New York Times Company, said on Friday afternoon that ongoing labor negotiations with Local 14, the Operating Engineers Union, had caused the postponement. The topping-out will be rescheduled, Forest City Ratner said. By Tom Acitelli
