The Riverhouse condominium, a 31-story residence, already features such “green” technologies as photovoltaic cells for producing electricity and its own wastewater treatment plant. Now, the Sheldrake Organization, owners of the property, plan to subsidize a bakery on the site that serves organic fare and that produces its products in an ecologically sound way. more [NYT]
