The Moinian Group is trying to get its hands on the last co-op on Park Avenue between Grand Central and 57th Street and raze it to make way for an office tower, the New York Post reports. Joseph Moinian’s development group has offered $140 million for the residential remnant on Park Avenue at 55th Street. The proposal needs to be approved by the owners of two-thirds of the co-op’s shares. more [NYP]
