New park could get subway stop

Brooklyn Bridge Park could get its own subway stop. Transportation consultants are considering ways to provide access to the proposed 85-acre waterfront park in Brooklyn Heights, which is expected to open in 2012. One plan is to connect a new station at the park to the existing Henry Street station via an access tunnel. The #2 and #3 lines run out of Henry Street. more [NYP]
