Governor George Pataki was on hand yesterday for the opening of the northern Chelsea portion of the Hudson River Park. The newly opened stretch of park includes a 26-foot diameter water wheel, the historic B & O Railroad float bridge, slips for kayaks and sailboats and three blocks of landscaping designed to attract birds and butterflies. more [NYP]
